Daring Drake Farm is a family owned orchard with a flock of free range ducks for egg production. We are lucky to be located in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. The orchard is a diverse mix of fruits including apples, pears, quince, plums, cherries, grapes, raspberries, currants and gooseberries. We use only organically approved measures to produce all of our high quality fruit. Daring Drake Farm produces the fruit for Blackduck Cidery.
Up until a couple of years ago, the only winery I would say without qualification I liked from the Finger Lakes was Hermann J. The excitement started at Billsboro Winery. Next on the list was a visit with Nathan Kendall of N. The third winery that far exceeded my expectations was Bloomer Creek Vineyard. My final eye-opening stop was Blackduck Cidery.
